RETIREE WORK OPPORTUNITIES

Are you a retiree who’s thinking about an “encore” to your previous work career? Whether you’re looking to pursue a life-long hobby in the form of a paid position, looking for a chance to engage in a wholly different kind of work, or are facing the challenges of cost increases due to inflation, today’s world of work is an opportune time to re-engage in the workforce. Many employers are offering more flexible schedules and wages have never been higher.

The Retiree Workforce Group hosts events focused on helping retirees learn how to connect with employers and what type of opportunities exist for re-engaging in the workforce. In 2025 we’ve brought the “Reimaging Retirement” series with THREE free events held in the spring.

Retiree Workforce Brunch was held March 19th, 2025, followed by an employment workshop at Job Service Kalispell on March 26th, and “Back to Work – On Your Terms” on April 2nd, facilitated by Sherrie Patterson of Essential Development and Coaching. Stay tuned for 2026 events!

Thinking about going back to work this fall? Check out the NWMT Job & Opportunity Fair being held on Wednesday, September 24th from 2-6pm in Kalispell at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center. Nearly 70 employers will be there ready to hire! And the event is FREE for job seekers to attend!
